E-Landscape opened its doors in 2007 and since that time, we've been fortunate to have a great group of people join our team, and a strong and growing list of clients with whom we truly enjoy working. Since the beginning, we've remained focused on providing top notch commercial landscaping services throughout the mid-Atlantic region, and our growth in this market was recently recognized by the Washington Business Journal, which named E-Landscape as number 4 on its list of Top Commercial Landscaping Companies in the Washington, DC area. This is the second year in a row that our firm has received this recognition.

Annapolis Rose Garden

Posted by E-Landscape on Feb 5, 2012 8:03:22 AM

This winter, the crews at E-Landscape have been busy working on further defining a client's side yard from a turf area into a formal rose garden. The space is accessed from the dining room via french doors and steps that lead down to the garden area. The garden's central axis is framed with Hick's Yews, an upright evergreen shrub which forms a hedge separating the front lawn from the rose garden. A new, interior, circular planting bed will be home to the owner's choice of hybrid tea roses (a long standing passion) and gravel paths will lead guests and gardeners through the space and down steps to the backyard. The path will be defined with steel edging along the perimeter to contain the gravel surface and maintain the perfect arc in the very formal space.

Top Dressing Your Turf

Posted by E-Landscape on Nov 14, 2011 10:07:56 AM

Topdressing your turf with an organic based compost is not only a cost effective method to restoring stressed turf due to heat, long periods of drought, or compaction, it helps replenish valuable nutrients that are essential to a healthy lawn. Topdressing is usually performed in the fall months or early spring on areas of turf that have been damaged or stressed due to compaction, loss of nutrients, and poor soil pH. While most landscape recommendations include working organic matter into the soil before planting or digging, topdressing can be performed once turf is established without killing or damaging the existing turf.
